Here is a list of my Top Ten personal favorites that I have read.  The list may change from time to time as I read more and more!  Take a peek at the list and maybe try one of these wonderful books!!

10) No Exit...by Taylor Adams --- Great thriller with the characters snowed in and one of them may be a killer!!

9) Brave Deeds by David Abrams ---this book takes place over an 8- or 10-hour period.  A story of bravery, courage and American spirit.

8) Ember... by Brock Adams---Super book!  What happens when the Sun begins to die?  It's a story about survival in an uncertain world where vigilantes take advantage of the desperate situation to gain control of the world.

7) Radar Girls...by Sara Ackerman---this is a historical fiction book and is based on real life events.  When Pearl Harbor is attacked, and men were shipped off to fight a small group of women were chosen to be their eyes and ears in the sky.  Wonderfully written!

6) Extinction...by Mark Alpert--- What happens to the world when advanced AI technology falls into the wrong hands??  This book can scare the pants off you because it is technology that exists and could actually happen!

5) Just Life...by Neil Abramson---As an animal lover this book hit home!  When humans take a stand for those who have no voice it makes for a wonderful, emotional and compelling story that readers will connect with.

4) Unsaid...by Neil Abramson---Yes, the same author as the previous book, it is another animal lover book.  A gripping and thought-provoking story that makes us think about what is "best".

3) Lily and the Octopus...by Steven Rowley---I know, another book about animals, but this was such a heartwarming, emotional story that we can all relate to.  We have all had a pet that we had to make gut wrenching decision for.  This beautiful story about a man and his little Lily, his denial, the octopus and her "talking" to him is so endearing you won't want to put it down.  Make sure there are tissues nearby!

2) The Blade Itself...by Joe Abercrombie---You may have noticed that this author is the most recent review I have done.  To be honest, ANY of his books could take this spot!  His story telling is superb and the characters are relatable.  I recommend not only this book but any and all of his other titles!

1) The Spider Wars...by Daniel Abraham--- So, this is not one book but a series of FIVE!!!  They go in order of The Dragon's Path, The Kings Blood, The Tyrant's Law, The Widows House and The Spiders War.  I read all 5 books and the series itself is a masterpiece!  It is a fantasy fiction that is highly recommended!  They are large books, but it is worth it...that's why they take the number one spot!!!

I hope is you have some free time you will check out one of these titles.  Remember, these are just my opinions and thoughts on books I have read and some of you may not like them as much as I did.  The list may have a tendency to change as I read more and more books. I am open to other book suggestions that maybe one of you might have enjoyed!
